Pacific Viceroy lap steel guitar  - photograph by Konrad Lenz 1998 Pacific guitars came out of Melbourne in the 1940s. I once found an identical model to this in a shop in Newtown, Sydney. It was in new condition, all gleaming and shiny. I wish I'd bought it so the two could keep each other company.
